United States congressional apportionment is the process by which seats in the United States House of Representatives are redistributed amongst the 50 states following each constitutionally mandated decennial census. Each state is apportioned a number of seats which approximately corresponds to its share of the aggregate population of the 50 states. In Florida, the lines of Congressional Districts have not been finalized. Because of this uncertainty, the rule requiring signatures be gathered only from the candidates home district are relaxed to permit signed petitions from any registered voter in the State. This presents an expanded opportunity for candidates to gather the required number of signatures for ballot access. If you are considering candidacy, please consult the Florida Division of Elections website.
Reform is actively seeking candidates that support the Party’s platform and goals to help change America for the better!
